Funding

We accept funded children and children who are unfunded and pay for their sessions into Pre-school.

15 hours funding

All three and four year old children are entitled to receive 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year, from the start of the term following their third birthday:

1st April and 31st August1st September or Autumn Term
1st September and 31st December1st January or Spring Term

This funding is generally taken at Pre-school as 15 hours a week, for 3 hours a day for 5 days a week, term time, 38 weeks for a year. You can choose to stretch the funding over 52 weeks with settings that are open all year round.

30 hours funding

We also offer the 30 hour extended funding to eligible families, whom are living and working in England and meet the required criteria.For further information extra funding please go to:

Time for Two’s

If you are the parent of a two year old and are in receipt of certain benefits, your child may be eligible for “Time for Two’s”, the term following their second birthday. This funding is generally taken at Pre-school as 15 hours a week, for 3 hours a day for 5 days a week, term time, 38 weeks for a year. For further information about “Time for Two’s”  please go to

Unfunded Children

If your child is not old enough or entitled to funding when they first start Pre-school we can offer fee paid sessions until your child meets the required age for funding. Please contact the Pre-school for more information.

Tax-Free Childcare and Childcare Vouchers

We are able to accept payment by childcare vouchers from many providers and are happy to set new payment schemes up.

The Government has started a new scheme for working parents to access Tax-Free Childcare, for every £8 a parent pays into their childcare account, the government will pay in an extra £2.
