Stantonfields Pre-School Policies and Procedures
As a Pre-school we follow a number of policies to ensure we maintain high standards of care. These policies are updated and reviewed annually following a Review Schedule. We notify our parents of any new policies that are to be implemented or when there are policy updates. A complete set of these policies are always available in the setting. If you would like to read any of our policies, please ask a member of staff.
Policies available to read:
1 2 Child Protection Safeguarding Children, young people and vulnerable adults
Our designated safeguarding leads are Angela Parsons, Pre-school Manager and Kellie Neaves-James, Deputy Manager.
We work to a System of Controls as our policy during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and have a COVID Outbreak Management Plan in place.
Risk Assessments.
We believe that the health and safety of children is of paramount importance. We make our setting a safe and healthy place for children, parents, staff and volunteers by assessing and minimising the hazards and risks to enable the children to thrive in a healthy and safe environment.
Health and safety risk assessments inform procedures. Staff and parents should be involved in reviewing risk assessments and procedures – they are the ones with first-hand knowledge as to whether the control measures are effective – and they can give an informed view to help update procedures accordingly. A complete set of these risk assessments are always available in the setting. If you would like to read any of our risk assessments, please ask a member of staff.
